The Kivo Plus is a three-wheeled tandem for a child to ride in the front, with an adult riding behind in control of the steering. It’s an ideal set up for the child to have a sense of being free and in charge while also feeling safe.

With a low step through, they are very easy to mount. It comes standard with 8 gears and a switchable freewheel hub, which is used to determine whether and how the passenger pedals.

With the steering on the rear-side, the freewheel hub has three positions:

1. A continuous movement of the pedal and the co-rider must pedal along.
2. the pedals of the co-rider move independently of the pedals of the driver; with the pedals running freely, the co-rider does not have pedal power.
3. the pedals of the co-rider move independently of the pedals of the driver; the co-rider’s drivetrain is engaged and the co-rider can cycle along.

The Kivo Plus has two wheels behind making it a tandem trike. The three wheels provide greater stability and complete balance while remaining seated at a stand still. Add electric assist to the Kivo Plus, and you’ll be pedalling together with ease.
If you choose the optional electric pedal assist, it will be delivered as a Smart E-Bike. It allows you to readily view information about your battery and smart E-Bike while cycling. For example, you can use the app to view bike routes and see where your connected bike is located – this is especially good against theft and in case of an emergency.
